Possible Facebook phone interface leaked online!

After more reports of a Facebook phone, its software interface has been leaked online.
Screenshots of the supposed Facebook phone's operating system have been shown online at Android Police. The images show the user interface of the smartphone which social network Facebook is reportedly making. The leaked screenshots show an Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean smartphone with a customised interface. The modified Facebook app has its own homescreen and permissions to go with it including the ability to change system settings, control Wi-Fi and spawn windows.
Other interesting permissions include the ability to read Android settings. The inclusion of one for Touchwiz suggests that the app isn't just meant for the Facebook phone.
"According to this rom, the Facebook Phone looks to be a mostly stock, mid-range Sense 4.5 phone that was attacked by a mutant Facebook app." said Android Police.
Icons are predominantly rounded and there's also a Google logo with the name 'search_button' despite Facebook's relationship with Microsoft Bing. Facebook Messenger will also be a part of it, as you would expect, with a possible floating widget type element suggested by 'pop out chat head' within the developer build.
The particular build on show here is still in beta development so only Facebook employees and authorised users. One image describes it as version 2.3-dev with a 2013 copyright.

Facebook phone specs

Other than the interface, an included file suggests the device itself is an HTC smartphone, codenamed 'Myst', with a dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM with a 720p resolution 4.3in screen. It has a 5Mp rear camera, 1.6Mp front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and no microSD card slot. There are plenty of questions surrounding the Facebook phone still to be answered and you might not have to wait long for them. The firm is holding an event on 4 April to "Come See Our New Home on Android."
We'll have to wait until Thursday to see if the anticipated Facebook phone is revealed or not.
